Sunday the 12th of March, Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anders Samuelsen, visited the headquarters of Alibaba Group to launch the "Danish Pavilion" on one of China’s most popular B2C platform, Tmall Global.
Mille, the bestselling Danish infant formula on the Chinese market, believes a collaboration with Alibaba and Tmall Global will result in a prosperous future, where an improved online presence on the B2C market will allow for even more Chinese consumers to enjoy the benefits of Mille’s infant formula.
At the ceremony both the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Joseph C. Tai, Executive Vice-Chairman of Alibaba Group, congratulated Mille on joining the Danish Pavilion on Tmall Global. The Danish Pavilion currently consists of more than 20 of the largest and most successful Danish brands in China. "China is a very promising, but also often a challenging market for many Danish companies. The Chinese consumers have often limited knowledge of Danish products and with the opening of an official Danish Pavilion on China’s leading e-commerce market place Tmall Global, we hope to draw attention to Danish products." says Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen.
